Manage Attachments

Back to Email/Compose

Click "Manage Attachments" and a popup will appear which will allow you to add or remove attachments. fmSpark maintains a central attachment library for use in any email messages. Attachments are stored inside fmSpark so that each user on your network can have access to the attachments library.

In addition, attachments can be referenced "inline" by clicking the anchor icon. This will allow you to copy an <IMG> reference for pasting in the html of your email or in your HTML Stationery. To place an inline image, clikc the anchor button beside the image you're interested in. Then adjust the alignment and height as you see fit before clicking "Copy Link". After the link is copied you can paste it into the HTML you're writing.

Note that anchors only appear beside "image" attachments, and don't show up for files like word docs or .zips. To close the "Setup Inline Image" window, click anywhere in the "<div..." text at the bottom of the screen or press "enter" on your keyboard.

Inline images cannot be shown in the html preview, so you'll see a placeholder image instead, but the images are included in the actual emails sent. Since you can't preview them, be sure to send one or more test messages when using inline images to make sure things look the way you want them to. (If you want to change the placeholder image shown in previews, you can do that on the Defaults tab of fmSpark's Settings screen: select "Settings" from the fmSpark menu.
