Back to Admin/Stationery
Stationery use standard HTML, but email clients vary in their interpretation and implementation of HTML. There could be a wide variation in the display of HTML emails within the following clients:
- MacOS X Mail.app
- Mobile Devices
For now, the suggestion is to test your stationery by sending test messages to as many different recipients (ideally using different clients) to see if your stationery looks acceptable for each recipient. Additionally, users may have local client preferences that prevent your HTML email from being displayed properly even when it otherwise should (e.g. they can turn off "load images"). In any case, you should always include a plain text part in your email message as a fall-back in the event the HTML part doesn't view properly.
