What is fmMap?
fmMap is a mapping module designed to be integrated into existing FileMaker solutions. fmMap lets users create maps and directions without leaving FileMaker.
Built completely in FileMaker Pro, fmMap is completely unlocked for you to modify and extend.

Requirements
fmMap requires FileMaker 8.5 or higher, but is optimized for FileMaker 9.0 or higher. Please consult the Technical Specifications sections for more information.
Using fmMap for the first time
1. Double click on SampleContacts.fp7, an example file that comes with fmMap.
2. Press the Map it button.
3. Close the window when you’re done. That’s it; you’ve just mapped your first address.
Things to try next
1. Press the Directions button
2. Press the Map found set button (do make sure you have a reasonable found set)
Advanced topics
You can view 'embedded' maps (that is, embedded within the Sample Contacts file rather than in a popup window).
1. Flip to the Embedded Maps tab
2. Try the buttons there.
